5 Antique COIN SILVER Teaspoons by John Bedford, Fishkill, NY,
Downturned Fiddle Handle Ca 1810-1815, No Shoulders, Long Drop,
Ornate Feathered Script On Front (see pictures), 5 ½ “ long, Extended
Bowl Tip Unworn, Marked J. Bedford.
Condition really is good for Coin Silver except for one spoon which has a
bump in the bowl and 2 other’s the handle is not quite straight. Bowl tips
are unworn. See Pictures. NO chips, cracks, etc. See Pictures. The
feathered script initials are all the same but I am unable to discern. There is
a serving spoon in this pattern that is pictured in ‘Darling’s NY State
Silversmiths’ that will tell you more about this maker.
